Your 20s are one of the most important decades of your life because it’s where you build the rest of your life’s foundations. This is also where you’re able to easily experiment with various things and obtain many privileges and responsibilities.

A lot of stuff can be done during your 20’s, but, doing it before will set you up to obtaining the handsome life and you’ll look back in your 20s with fondness.
Invest your money to get complement rest going
I made a video that details what compound interest is and why you should care.
You should check it out after watching this video. But here’s the summary, this mathematical formula is just interest built off of interest and the initial deposit.
This may not seem like much at first, but over the years, the money grows exponentially. It rewards those who keep their money invested for a longer time than those who withdraw early.
It also rewards those who put more money into it and smartly choose an investment with a high interest rate.
Most countries allow you to invest for you turn 18. If you’re at that age or older and you don’t have a brokerage account for investing or retirement, I recommend you check out Robinhood or M1 Finance.
I personally use them for my own investments. The links are in the description below.
Develop and improve your financial skills
This can be personal finance or magic assets of others. It’s one thing to earn money, but it’s another thing to keep it.
The world outside wants to take your money from you and will do so whether you like it or not.
So, learning how to manage your finance is important if you wish to have a high net worth.
Some skills specifically are budgeting with the money you currently have, setting and achieving financial goals, finding deals when shopping, controlling your impulse to spend unnecessarily, building your credit history, making wise decisions on variety of thingsm and saving money for the future.
Most people learn to finance in their late 20s or 30s and some never even bother. By learning to balance and keep your money, you will prevent financial stress down the line.
Build your social skills and develop your relationships
Being young has its perks when you’re constructing your social/romantic life.
The main reason is your proximity to others in a social setting like school, camps, sports teams, and more. You also have more time on your hands to hang out.
When you get older, you lose both perks because no one is forced to hang around you anymore and you have more things to worry about. This can be a problem if you’ve never made any real friends and are afraid to talk to strangers.
Plus, society frowns upon those who are single and anti-social, especially if they are older. This is why you need to develop your social skills and build your network of people.
Do not isolate yourself in a small group or think someone is in a different league. Look for in ten events that plays a huge emphasis on socialization.
Especially if mainly people attending or single. If you can get your platonic and love life going, you will look back on your 20’s with admiration.
Get used to facing discouragement from other people
Throughout your life, You will experience people nag and laugh over your plans, goals, and dreams.
Keep in mind, you are just potential and you haven’t proven anything yet. So, people will nag you if they know something you don’t or they don’t see your vision.
In some cases, some people will be jealous of you. So, you must first figure out if the nagging has any value to it and decide whether to act or ignore it. Don’t get arrogant.
Usually older people who have done something with their lives will discourage you out of concern and as a warning because they themselves experienced something similar in their younger days.
Whatever you decide to do with discouragement, know that this will affect your future.
Learn to understand an individual person’s beliefs and motivations
This is a powerful skill to learn because you can essentially read a person and predict what he or she will do.
Tell me a man’s and a woman’s belief system and goals and I’ll give you their fears, their desires, their strengths, their weaknesses, and their behavior.
Like I said, this is a very powerful skill; but, this is a very hard skill to develop. It takes a long time and requires many interactions to develop, especially when it comes to deducing the information you obtain from an individual. Plus, individual people are unique and can be confusing.
As a result, most people will never develop the skill to its fullest potential. This is why you should learn the skill while you’re young. If you can learn it now and throughout your 20’s, you’ll be at a high advantage later in your life.
Find a mentor or a trusted person with experience
If there’s one thing the young lack, its wisdom; the only thing you have is innocence and naivety. What’s worse is you haven’t built a complex decision process yet.
So, the simple solution is to find a hero that can take you underneath their wing to mentor you.
This hero can install good ideas, habits and beliefs inside you and can guide you on your life matters. You should study how they behave, think, and look at the world.
If you’re lucky enough to stumble across someone, adhere to their helpful teachings because you will benefit from them.
Learn all the basic skills and advanced skills that interest you
The basic skills are things such as cooking, cleaning, washing your clothes, swimming, driving, dressing appropriately, etc.
You won’t learn to stuff by doing nothing. So you need to practice them. These skills may seem trivial to learn and do, but they can be really expensive if you need to depend on someone to do them for you.
You should also learn complex skills such as writing papers, video editing, motorcycling, or are things that may interest you. These type of skills will make you interesting and unique.
Learn to be attractive both physically and mentally
Let’s be real here looks matter! A lot of the popular kids in your school were physically attractive and had multiple people fawning over them because of that.
People automatically treat attractive individuals with respect and look past their faults. So instead of moaning and groaning about how unfair this is, try to look as hot as you can be.
Yes, there are genetic limitations that very person to person, but this does not mean you should give up.
Go to the gym! Eat healthy! Dress stylish! Get a better haircut! Just do something to improve your looks!
You also need to improve your mentality.
Looks are the initial impression, but afterwards, your personality is what keeps the impression on the good side. No one wants to be around some mentally unstable loser. We all want to be around charismatic people.
Thus, you must develop your charisma. Look at the charismatic people’s behavior and emulate them. Also, keep your emotions in check.
Know about the popular trends and how to converse with various types of folks without irritating or offending them. When you become attractive, both physically and mentally, you are living the handsome life!
These are the eight things that you should know and do before you enter your 20’s.
So, do you do any of these things? Do you have any more suggestions?
